Kallos

The original design of the couture capsule collection, Kallos, the Greek word meaning beauty – is the root of the Calla Lily name.

To create the accurate Calla Lily, I picked a bloom from my garden, dissected it to create a pattern, then enlarged it mathematically by hand.

The bodice has an asymmetrical design – curved on the black side and straight across on the white, between the chest is a curved seam that fits perfectly into the body and creates support and shape. The flower follows this curve. The bodice of this dress is lined in silk faille.

Fabrication: 100% Silk Faille outer and lining, 100% Silk Organza flower, Cotton Piping, Center Back Zipper

This dress can be shortened, and the flower can be changed to another flower of your choice. The colors can be changed for this design.

All pieces in this couture capsule collection are bespoke – custom made to your exact measurements. Included in the pricing of these pieces is a muslin draft fitting (virtual or in person) and a second fitting, in the final garment, before hand off. This a lengthy process – similar to ordering a bridal gown – the earliest delivery date for a garment ordered in November 2024, is May 2025.
