Mending 101

This sewing class is perfect for beginners, who are interested in being able to mend their own clothing to make it last longer. A sewing machine is not required for this class, but we will also touch on ways to use it for mending. We will go over efficient ways to: knot thread, sew on a button, close up a hole, and hem a garment.

Supplies for this class:
– woven fabric scraps for practicing, any size/shape
– one or two buttons, any kind
– hand sewing needle
– thread
– scissors

Since knowledge is power – I also believe it should be as accessible as possible to as many people as possible. You’ll notice there is not a set price for these classes – but a sliding scale. You choose what you would like to, and are able to, pay. All videos have full captions available.
