1. Aside from occasionally modeling for SmartGlamour – what do you do?

A few years ago, I went back to school, so I’m currently a full time student studying cell/molecular Biology with a minor in Psychology but will be graduating in May and moving on to nursing school.  Plus, as my bonus all day every day gig, I’m a mama to a pretty fab 8yr old daughter. 2. How did you get involved with the brand?

I actually had the pleasure of going to high school with owner/designer/creative genius-mind behind SG, Mallorie Dunn.  I walked in the very first fashion show she ever did when we were seniors.  We have stayed in contact all these years.

3. You’ve modeled for us multiple times – what makes you continue to come back?

There is an electricity in the air when you do an event with Mallorie, and SmartGlamour, that is infectious; it pulls you in, in the best possible way.  You are surrounded my so many like minded people, it is hard not to feel so incredible about yourself and so positive about the world around you while in that little bubble.  It’s something you want to come back to again and again whenever possible, for sure!  4. What does body positivity mean to you?

Body positivity to me means looking in a mirror and not seeing my reflection, but rather, feeling my soul, if that makes any sense at all.  I struggled a long time with body image in my youth, and sometimes still do in adulthood if I’m being totally honest, and I just always remember seeing a reflection that wasn’t necessarily the truth.  Body positivity, to me, is more being at peace with one’s self with where you’re at, then and there, and helping others find that peace with themselves as well.  You can tell when someone has it.  They radiate from within!

5. If there is a message you could put across to women/femmes/non binary folks through your modeling photos – what would that be?

Love yourself at every stage of life.  You are the best person to show others how to love you. 6. What is your advice to people who would like to give modeling a try?

Just go for it!  With an all-inclusive brand like SmartGlamour, you are never “too anything” to try….too short, too old, too fat, too dark, too anything……YOU ARE YOU AND THAT’S ENOUGH.  Just go for it!
