Advanced Tote Bag

If you are an intermediate sewer, or have finished the basic tote and would like to try the next level – let’s make our advanced tote bag! This tote bag is fully lined, has an inside pocket, and closes with a recessed zipper. This is a great, sturdy tote bag – and perfectly sized to be a personal item on a flight.

Supplies for this class:
– around a half a yard of woven fabric for the outer bag, exact sizes/cuts gone over in the video
– another half a yard of woven fabric for lining
– 3 yds of pre made straps
– a regular or invisible zipper, 17-18in, or shorter/longer if you are adjusting your final bag size
– sewing machine with regular and zipper feet
– thread
– scissors
– straight pins

Since knowledge is power – I also believe it should be as accessible as possible to as many people as possible. You’ll notice there is not a set price for these classes – but a sliding scale. You choose what you would like to, and are able to, pay. All videos have full captions available.
