Basic Tote Bag

If you’ve begun learning to sew, perhaps already taken our seam finish class, and want a fun project to start with – try our basic tote bag! In this class, we will use french seams to make a simple tote that is clean finished on the inside. We will also go over making your own straps for the bag, but you may also choose to use pre-bought straps.

Supplies for this class:
– around a half a yard of woven fabric, exact sizes/cuts gone over in the video
– optional, pre made straps, 1.5yds
– thread
– straight pins
– scissors
– sewing machine

Since knowledge is power – I also believe it should be as accessible as possible to as many people as possible. You’ll notice there is not a set price for these classes – but a sliding scale. You choose what you would like to, and are able to, pay. All videos have full captions available.
